I started my character with a simple vector design but found it did not suit my concept and colour palettes, after watching tutorials I started playing around with gradients and it started to look much better.

I am very pleased with the type and gradients. I have found landscape works better portraying the concept.

The story begins in the heart of New York city’s ice skating rink, Central Park. In the late cold winter night Wilco, the janitor takes a moonlight stroll on his zamboni smoothing out the ice.
